NOTICE OF INTEREST DUE DECEMBER 15, 2023
The Coalfield Solar Fund offers incentive grants over three years for Virginia and West Virginia K-12 public schools and community colleges to go solar at no upfront cost.
Funding will streamline the process for an applicant’s campuses to go solar under a multi-year service agreement with Secure Solar Futures.
Workforce Development
At each institution, Secure Solar Futures will start and operate a workforce development program to train local students as solar installers
Cost Savings
Schools and community colleges located within designated coalfield regions in select Virginia and West Virginia counties are eligible
